Welcoming You Back for Services at About Face - Keeping You Safe in Red

Beautiful skin is only a few days away! From Friday December 3rd, we can finally welcome our beautiful customers back for services. 

We will be opening as per the health guidelines set out by the Government, and will be doing everything we can to keep you safe. Here’s what you need to know about visiting us for services under the COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic light system).

  • In order to enter our clinic and to receive services, you must have and show proof of your My Vaccine Pass. If you do not have it, or can not show proof we will not treat you. 
  • Scan the Covid Tracer App QR code. These will be displayed outside our doors as well as at reception. If you do not have the Covid Tracer app, we will have a form for you to safely fill out and place into a box. We will not share your information with anyone, unless we are required to conduct contact tracing due to Covid exposure. 
  • Please also don’t be offended when we ask to check and update your personal contact details in our system. Whilst we are using the official NZ Covid Tracer App, ensuring your contact details are correct in our system is an added step in the required contract tracing protocols.
  • Please use our hand sanitiser before you enter.
  • Appropriate PPE must be worn. Please wear a face mask over both your mouth and nose. 
  • Please maintain a safe 2 meter distance between yourself and other customers. 
  • Due to the size of some of our clinics, we will have to limit the number of customers in clinics at any one time. You might have to wait outside before entering, we appreciate your understanding. 
  • We will not have any sample products out on shelves for you to test at this time, but if you would like to trial a product, please ask the staff in clinic first. 
  • If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you please stay at home and give us a call or email your preferred clinic.
  • Payment – We will only be accepting contactless payment, so please do not bring cash to pay for your purchase or treatment. 
  • Please be kind, to our staff and to other customers. We know how excited you will be to enjoy your treatment, to shop our limited edition Christmas sets and to top up on your go to products, but please be understanding, kind and patient at this time. 

What we are doing to keep you safe

  • In every clinic we will have hand sanitising stations at entry and dotted throughout the clinic.
  • We will be sanitising and cleaning all high touch areas regularly, this includes eftpos machines and counters. 
  • All staff will be wearing face masks at all times and will be regularly sanitising their hands. 

Booking Your Appointment

To make a booking, you can do so online here, or give your local clinic a call. We are allowing 15 minutes in between each appointment time in order to sanitise  the treatment rooms and get you checked in and confirm your My Vaccine Pass details. 

Coming in for your appointment

  • Please arrive on time, and only come by yourself. If you are running late please give us a call to let us know. 
  • Please arrive wearing your face ask, and only remove it once your therapist has asked you to do so. 
  • Please make sure you have signed in using the COVID Tracer App and have had your My Vaccine Pass QR code scanned.

Is your staff vaccinated?

We can confirm that all About Face team members conducting services are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Will the COVID-19 Vaccine affect any of my regular treatments?

As with all of our High Tech treatments there are some requirements about when you can safely receive them. You cannot have a High Tech treatment if you have had a vaccination (of any kind, not only the COVID-19 vaccine) within 2 weeks of your appointment. If you are booking a high tech treatment, please let us know if you have recently had or will be receiving a dose of a vaccine leading up to your appointment time. 

How can I make an appointment?

I’ve only had 1 dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, can I come in for a service? 

Unfortunately no. Only those who are fully immunised against COVID-19 and have their My Vaccine Pass are able to visit us for a service. 

What are you doing to maintain high standards of hygiene in your treatment rooms and clinics. 

You’ll notice when booking your appointment we have allowed for 15 minutes between each appointment slot so that we can conduct a full clean and sanitisation of our treatment rooms. 

I’m feeling unwell - can I reschedule?

Absolutely. If you are feeling unwell, or have been in close contact with someone with COVID-9, please give us a call to reschedule your appointment. 

How many people are allowed in the clinic?

At this stage, whilst the Ministry of Health hasn’t set out limits on the number of people allowed inside a store at any one time, we must follow social distancing measures. In some cases where our clinics are very small, this will mean that we will ask you to wait outside until it is safe to come in in order to maintain 2m distance between all those inside. 

Can I still place a Click & Collect order?

Absolutely. If you’d like to avoid crowds and make your experience fast and simple. Please phone or email your preferred clinic to place your order. Our team will have it ready for you to collect swiftly upon arrival.

How many people are allowed in the clinic?
We can only allow the number of people in a space where we can have a safe distance of 1 m between each other. In some cases where our clinics are very small, this will mean that we will ask you to wait outside until it is safe to come in, in order to maintain 1m distance between all those inside.
