Many of us see the subtle changes of our skin as we age and weigh up the options available. Like myself, many of you don’t want to start Botox or other injectables for differing reasons.
Botox looks great for many people – in the short-term! But think of the atrophy that occurs after a muscle has been immobilised in a cast for a month or so – that’s not dissimilar to the paralysis of the muscle caused by Botox. Other muscles need to compensate for this and I believe this is what causes the unnatural appearance of long-term Botox use.
The lines of our faces tell the story of our lives – we don’t want to erase them altogether, but we want to look as fresh as we can for as long as we can, without risking our health and/or appearance. The new anti-ageing skin rejuvenation lasers are a very real alternative for those of us who may not want to take the risks. Now, it really is possible to look your best at any age. We have two new state of the art skin rejuvenation lasers; Fraxel re:fine, and Clear & Brilliant. They reduce fine lines, improve skin firmness, restore radiance, vitality and slow down the ageing process.
